Here's the latest from the Y.U.M. Chef's Kitchen:
-We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working, and most of all kid-loving intern for the summer of 2014. Apply today!
-Y.U.M. Chefs has recently collaborated with Locomotive Labs, a Bay Area team of designers dedicated to bringing learning apps to empower kids with special needs. Their new cooking stories on the "Kid in Story" application feature our own Katie Olender as Chef Katie, as she walks through the steps of how to measure cereal and make a healthy smoothie. Take a peek at the blog post, and be sure to download the stories to read with your child! We feel so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work together on this project - thank you Locomotive Labs!
- Director Leah Brooks was quoted and the organization was highlighted in an article about kid’s cooking in the Wall Street Journal today! Titled “After Naptime, Make the Aioli”, the article focuses on the exciting and emerging field of teaching kids how to cook. Y.U.M. Chefs is one of the organizations highlighted amongst few others across country that allow kids to learn and explore in the kitchen. We are extremely excited about this article and the new opportunities that come with it. Please take a look!
And most of all- thank you so much for your support!
